Caring For Your Head Lights

Your head lights are definitely one of the most important parts of your car. You cannot drive without them during night time and even if you can, you risk the possibility of getting caught by the police because it’s usually illegal to drive without them turned on during night. Replacing your headlamps can be expensive and if you lead an active lifestyle, you might not have the time to really wait around and have your head lights changed. So to avoid mishaps, here are some easy tips you can follow in caring for your head lights:

Don’t use abrasives on your headlight – If you must clean even the cover of your headlamp, make sure it’s a soft cloth that won’t scratch the surface. Head lights are usually clear and so are their cover, so it might not be easy to spot the cover to already be broken. If it is already, then your head lamps would absorb impact as you ride your car and risk it being broken as well.

Your car can survive and operate efficiently for years as long as it has access to certain fluids. Unfortunately, millions of drivers fail to check their fluid levels on a regular basis, even though doing so is simple and requires very little time. In this article, we’ll provide a blueprint you can use to check the levels and ensure your car’s major systems are in good health.

Car Radiator and the Engine – BFF

If you believe in the concept that all good things in the world come in pairs, then you must be wondering who could be the companion for your car engine. Well, look no further, it is the Radiator. Not to be confused with any Arnold movie, a radiator is an integral part of the engine setup that runs your vehicle. In fact, these two parts of your car are mechanically linked and even though the Engine might be the fiery, hot-headed type, it’s the Radiator that has a soothing influence over it and that’s what defines their relationship as well.

If you are not familiar with the major parts in your car, let me introduce you to what is called the Car Radiator all over the world. When you pop-open the hood of your car, the first part that immediately follows the front grille is the radiator. In fact, a radiator itself resembles a grille or a mesh of lean pipes forming a square shaped part that has an opening at the top and a fan located just behind.

Exploring Your Vehicle’s Water Pump

Internal combustion engines produce a lot of friction during operation. That friction generates heat, which is one of the worst culprits for your engine. Your vehicle is equipped with a cooling system that is responsible for getting rid of this heat before it can damage your engine.

There are several components that make up the cooling system, including a water pump (WP), several belts, a thermostat, radiator, and fan. The water pump is the core. It circulates water throughout the entire system as well as through the engine block and heating system. If this part fails, heat will increase and damage your engine.
